Anata to was second collaborative single between ayaka and Kobukuro. It was released September 24, 2008 and was used as CM song for Nissan Cube.

To immediately describe Anata to, I’d say it’s a pretty, simple ballad with nice instruments and a great vocal performance form everyone. The song starts with some piano and orchestra instruments. The piano maintains throughout the song and is the only instrument that accompanies Kuroda Shunsuke during his solo verse. Than ayaka gets her verse, where the orchestra instruments kick in. That’s when the simple and great chorus kicks in. It’s extremely pretty and simple, yet so catchy. After the second chorus, the trio does a great bit of ad-libbing, getting to even more show off their vocal talent. The ending of the 5:23 song track is really beautiful.
Anata to was a really great ballad. It doesn’t compare too much to “I believe” but is no doubt awesome. I wasn’t gonna think I would like Kobukuro’s vocals, but they didn’t get in the way of the song at all. A b-side would have been nice also. If your looking for a simple, beautiful ballad, Anata to is for you.
